Rita's on the River gears up for Fiesta
SAN ANTONIO- Janet Yanez, Rita’s on the River spokesperson, and Art Del Toro, Rita’s on the River bartender, discussed how the restaurant is getting ready for Fiesta. The restaurant will have an exclusive Fiesta margarita this year. Yanez discussed upcoming parades and festivities and showcased a special official Fiesta medal.
Rita’s on the River is preparing for the Cavaliers River Parade on Monday, April 23rd, which will celebrate its 77th year. The parade celebrates a group of Texas Cavaliers who saw boats and barges in 1941 decorated with flowers in the floating gardens of Mexico City.
For the upcoming River Parade, Rita’s will feature a special menu of appetizers, fajitas, the Rita’s burger and bunuelos. Rita’s on the River also hosts quarterly Yappy Hours, which are pet-friendly happy hours every quarter with special themes, prizes and treats for dogs and their owners.
Rita’s on the River is located on a beautiful stretch of the River Walk with live mariachis, a dog-friendly patio and the colorful Tex-Mex flavors of San Antonio. Make sure to check them out during Fiesta, or stop by on Monday, April 23rd, the day of the River Parade.
