San Antonio Fire Museum sharing fun and history, volunteers welcome

The San Antonio Fire Museum is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization.

SAN ANTONIO - The San Antonio Fire Museum is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization that preserves and promotes the history of the San Antonio Fire Department.

The museum is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday.

The building used to house specialized equipment and Command Staff officers for over seven decades, until 2011.

Fire Prevention Puppet Shows are available for groups at the Museum, by appointment only, and subject to the availability of our Puppeteer!

If your group is interested in attending, please call 210-390-7236 to pre-schedule at least TWO WEEKS in advance!

Group Tours are available for $2.00 per person (maximum of 25 per group)

There is NO additional fee for the Puppet Show!

The San Antonio Fire Museum is owned and operated by the San Antonio Fire Museum Society, a 501(c)(3) public charity. All of our management staff are volunteers. The Board of Directors is elected at our Annual Meeting in September.
