Big lottery jackpots giving people hope this Christmas
SAN ANTONIO -- Two Texas lottery jackpots worth a combined half a billion are giving people plenty of reasons to dream big this Christmas.
Friday's Mega Millions top prize was worth $253 million (Numbers: 1, 20, 30, 33, 42, 16), but there was no winner. That means the jackpot is now worth $277 million.
Saturday's Powerball is worth a whopping $300 million.
We talked to some people who purchased tickets to see what they're wish for should they hit it big.
“Probably give a lot away to family and friends," a lottery player named Gary said. "And probably stop working."
