Cocaine, cash, firearms confiscated from home neigboring pre-school
PLEASANTON, Texas —
Cocaine, several thousand dollars in cash, a pistol and some rifles -- all of this confiscated from a home neighboring a preschool in Pleasanton Thursday afternoon.
Authorities took 47-year-old Jonothan Vaughn into custody and charged him with possession of a controlled substance within 1000 feet of a school after executing a search warrant on a home in the 900 block of North Main Street.
The home is approximately one block from Pleasanton Elementary School and neighbors the Blossoms Preschool Academy.
A manager for the daycare said the couple that lived in the home were "quiet neighbors."
Authorities also detained a female, but she has not been charged. Police had been investigating Vaughn.
He was taken to the Atascosa County Jail.
