Funeral held for father shot during home invasion
SAN ANTONIO —
A memorial service was held for Clay Robinson Friday. Family, friends and even strangers attended the event.
The 51-year-old physician’s assistant died after he was shot during an apparent home invasion Tuesday morning.
"The way he left us is exactly the way I think he would want to go if he ever had the choice, loving and protecting his family,” Robinson’s son said.
Robinson had seven children. During his memorial service, one of them described him as a spiritual mentor who would read devotionals at the dinner table.
A detective with the Universal City Police told us suspect Jonathan Perales is at the San Antonio Military Medical Center. Deputies are watching him at the hospital around the clock.
