Girl, 12, raped at gunpoint as she waited at bus stop, suspect on the loose, say police
SAN ANTONIO -- Police released few new details about the rape of a middle school student on Thursday evening on the San Antonio's Northeast Side.
According to information provided by the San Antonio Police Department, the 12-year-old victim was at a bus stop when a man with a gun forced her to walk to a wooded area where he sexually assaulted her.
The assault happened behind Ed White Middle School at about 6:30 p.m. The suspect, believed to be between the ages of 16 and 22, ran off.
The girl then called a relative and was taken to a hospital for examination.
At the time of the attack, police said they were looking for slender black man about 5'7" and 16-20 years of age. He was wearing a black shirt, khaki pants, Air Force 1 shoes and armed with pistol. When the suspect is captured, he will be charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
