Homeowner will not be charged with killing man who threatened woman with gun
SAN ANTONIO - Police say a homeowner who shot and killed a man who was threatening an ex will not be charged with the man's death.
According to preliminary info released by the San Antonio Police Department, the unidentified suspect showed up at a home on West High Avenue and threatened a woman with a gun.
Investigators say she has a protective order against the man and she ran inside the house. The homeowner confronted the suspect as he broke into the house through a bedroom window and shot him twice.
The suspect died at the scene. Officers found a BB gun in his waistband. His identity has not been released.
No one was arrested, and investigators say it appeared to be a case of self-defense.
