Man faces capital murder charge for shooting, killing 53-year-old man

Police arrested a man in his late teen's Friday night for his alleged involvement in a shooting that left a 53-year-old man dead and another man wounded.

SAN ANTONIO - Police arrested a man in his late teen's Friday night for his alleged involvement in a shooting that left a 53-year-old man dead and another man wounded.

Joseph Edward Hernandez, 19, was arrested just before 8 p.m. Friday. He is facing a capital murder charge for a shooting that happened at a North Bexar County residence.

Authorities were called to a residence at 24200 block of Invitation Oak at about 8 p.m. Wednesday to find Jose Manuel Cintron, 54, dead at the scene. Deputies said two men opened the door for Hernandez, who pulled out a handgun and started shooting for unknown reasons. Matthew Ybarra, 22, was wounded in the shooting in what authorities called a "drug deal gone bad."
