Man shot during confrontation at gas station, gunman on the loose
SAN ANTONIO —
A man was hospitalized after he was shot in the parking lot of a gas station on the Northeast Side early Tuesday morning.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, two men got into an argument inside the store at I-35 and Rittiman Road shortly after 12 a.m.
The victim walked outside; he was followed by the suspect and the two continued to argue. Investigators believe the suspect, a man in his 20s, pulled out a gun and shot the victim twice in the leg before running off.
He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. The shooting remained under investigation. No arrests have been made.
