Map shows where you can find mosquitoes able to carry Zika virus
ATLANTA -- A new map from the CDC shows where you can find mosquitoes in the U.S. that are able to carry the Zika virus.
Bexar County is one of the places with the highest prevalence of the types of mosquitoes able to carry the virus. Between 1995 and this year, the Zika-capable mosquitoes have been found in the county for three or more years.
The largest concentrations appear to be along the Southeastern Coast of the U.S.
Experts say your best defense against the mosquitoes is to use repellents that contain DEET.
