On the Run: Woman accused of stabbing another 14 times
SAN ANTONIO -- Authorities are searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed another woman 14 times.
Mai Ling Cruz is wanted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after she allegedly stabbed another woman 14 times. The incident happened at the Terrace Apartments on Roszell.
According to the police report, two groups of people, one of which included Cruz, got in an argument about who was looking at the other's girlfriend. The argument got ugly and one of the men slashed a tire on another man’s vehicle. A fight between the men and three women started, and the female victim was stabbed 14 times by Cruz, according to authorities.
Cruz and her husband are known to police. Officers went to her apartment and found blood smears on the door. When the called her, she told them she was camping. But the officers were familiar with her car and had already seen it outside. They said when they arrested her, she still had blood on her hands and ankles.
Cruz may still be in the San Antonio area but has ties to Pennsylvania and California. She is 6 feet tall and weighs about 240 pounds.
