South Side church feeds hundreds through food pantry event
SAN ANTONIO —
The Southside Church of God is feeding hundreds of families through a food pantry event.
This is the first time the church has hosted the event, and they're excited to help others.
Church leaders say volunteers made it all possible.
"This could not have been done without numerous volunteers,” Brady Hacker and Vanessa Hacker told us. “And we thank them for taking their Saturday, and we're so thankful. It couldn't have been done without them."
Organizers hope to feed at least 600 families.
