SAN ANTONIO - Police have arrested a man they believe stole a BMW from a car dealership parking lot near Loop 410 and Airport Boulevard earlier this month.

The theft occurred on April 6. Just two days later, the owner of a vacation rental home says she arrived at her property and found the stolen BMW sitting in the driveway. A few minutes later, she says Rex Nathaniel Jones walked up and asked her to move her car so he could leave.

She refused to move until police arrived and claims Jones, who is also her neighbor, got into the car and drove through a neighbor's yard to get away.

A few days later, the same witness spotted the same car parked at a nearby elementary school. Police have now charged Jones with theft of a vehicle.
