Suspect leads DPS troopers on chase, topping out at 120 mph
SAN ANTONIO —
A driver was arrested after he allegedly led state troopers on a chase that topped out at 120 miles per hour.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers tried to stop a car for a traffic violation along West Military Drive at about 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The driver didn't stop and instead headed northbound on Loop 410. Troopers said the suspect hit speeds of 120 miles per hour before eventually stopping near Callaghan and Ingram roads.
The driver and a passenger got out and tried to run, but they were arrested a short time later. Both face multiple charges.
