SAN ANTONIO -- San Antonio Police have arrested a teenager who is accused of killing another teen last month.

According to an arrest affidavit, 18-year-old Jose Carrion is charged with murder in the death of 16-year-old Ethan Carrion. The victim was shot and killed in an apartment on South Hamilton on August 26th.

Jose Carrion first told investigators the victim died after accidentally shooting himself with a shotgun and that he got rid of the gun by giving it to someone outside. But police were skeptical of that story, since heavy rain and winds from Hurricane Harvey just had entered Bexar County and there was no one outside.

The autopsy later revealed the victim could not have died from a self-inflicted shot.

Jose Carrion is now charged with murder.
