At least 25,000 runners lined up to run this morning's Rock-and-Roll half and full marathon.

The race, zig-zaging all over San Antonio, with rock music blasting helping some find their groove.

"I feel great," said another runner. "We just got through some music. We saw a lot of people cheering us. It's a blessing."

Step after step, participants climbed hills and battled occasional rain, pushing themselves to beat the clock.

The marathon was a milestone for many, including 72-year-old Larry Macon. Today's marathon was number 2,000 for him.

"I finished another one, isn't that great. Haven't I been lucky to do another one. Maybe I can do another one, I have one scheduled for the following Thursday," Macon said.

While some of his races might blur together, one couple decided to make a forever memory, ending the race with a proposal. And she said yes!
