Two teens in critical condition following stabbing attack on West Side
SAN ANTONIO - Two teens were hospitalized in critical condition following a stabbing attack on the city's West Side late Sunday night.
Officers said Osvaldo Zavala was stabbed in the chest around 9:30 p.m. on South Smith Street near Guadalupe Street and South Brazos.
A short time later, a potential suspect called police from the 1600 block of W. Salinas and told them he was involved in an incident and waited for police to arrive.
Police said the suspect had also sustained stab wounds to his arms.
The victim and the suspect were taken to separate hospitals for treatment.
Police were still investigating the motive behind the attack. No arrests had been made.
