6th grade student turns to boxing to deal with bullies
A 6th grade student has turned to boxing as a way to cope with the bullies who taunt her at school.
Jalysa Smith, 11, says she suffers a lot of anxiety in the mornings before she heads to school. Her mother says bullies would call her names or make fun of her hair.
After posting about her situation on Facebook, a trainer at a boxing gym offered to train Jalysa to help her increase her confidence and deal with bullies.
