US Marshals searching for wanted fugitive

Deputies say Mendoza violated the conditions of his supervised release by failing to do drug treatments, failing to pay restitution and not reporting to his probation officer.

SAN ANTONIO – The U.S. Marshals are searching for wanted fugitive Alberto Mendoza for not following the rules of his release after doing time behind bars for transporting undocumented immigrants.

In 2012, Mendoza was sentenced to 42 months in prison on the charge of transporting undocumented immigrants for financial gain in the United States.

Deputies say Mendoza violated the conditions of his supervised release by failing to do drug treatments, failing to pay restitution and not reporting to his probation officer.

Mendoza’s last known residence was in Jourdanton, TX.

Mendoza has multiple tattoos on his chest, back, both arms, and both calves.

41-year-old Mendoza is 5’5” and weighs 180 pounds, he was born in Alabama.
