Houston residents join forces to help out neighbors in distress
Houston residents are reaching out to help one another after now Tropical Storm Harvey has poured hundreds of gallons of rain, flooding roadways and leaving thousands stranded. There have been at least 6 reported deaths.
People are now getting creative with how they are attempting to save their neighbors. One woman used her kayak to help save those in distress.
Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner said more than 3,000 people have been rescued by police thus far. The Coast Guard said it had also rescued more than 3,000 by boat and air.
