Portland Police say they've arrested a serial bank robber dubbed "The Lazy Leprechaun."
Officers say 35-year-old Eric B. Smotherman robbed the KeyBank in the 3800 block of NE Broadway Friday afternoon. He was arrested shortly after during a traffic stop, when police spotted a realistic-looking replica firearm in his car.
He was placed on a US Marshal's hold at Multnomah County Jail.
More charges are likely for similar alleged crimes.
