On The Run: Jesus Ricardo Gallegos
SAN ANTONIO —
A man accused of assaulting a police officer is once again on the run from authorities. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office needs your help finding Jesus Ricardo Gallegos.
According to deputies, Gallegos skipped his probation for assaulting an officer.
“It all started when Gallegos and his friends were provoking a fight with a few individuals they previously had a disagreement with earlier that night.”
According to the sheriff's office, that's when Gallego’s friend assaulted one of the men in front of a police officer. The officer then arrested him. This is when gallegos decided to get in between the officer and his friend.
“In the process of Gallegos being placed in custody, Gallegos began to push and pull away from the officer. During the struggle of placing gallegos in custody along with his friend, the officer was assaulted from behind by an acquaintance that was with them that night.”
Gallegos and his friends were arrested. He was convicted and placed on probation. Since then, Gallegos has been on the run for several years since being released on probation.
24-year-old Jesus Ricardo Gallegos is 5'10 and weighs 195 pounds. Authorities say he last lived on the city's South Side on the 700 block of Avondale Avenue and 1100 Ada Street.
