FOX San Antonio - Street's Corner
For the first time in half a decade, drivers at San Antonio Speedway are starting their engines.
The race track shut down in 2007 due to a mix of code compliance issues and the threat of new development in the area. Five years later, the lack of development in the area and an influx of new investment opportunities have given the track new life. The track's grand reopening race, "Octoberfast," is bringing in racers from all over the country to show their support for the Speedway.
JT Street finds out why one former champion says the track's reopening is a dream come true on ''Street's Corner.''
