Children Killed in Crash Identified
San Antonio police have released the names of the children killed in a crash on Medina Base road Monday. 31-year-old Roxanna Demers and her three children died when police say 35-year-old Larry Demers crashed into a construction site bulldozer. 9-year-old Silas Demers, 4 year old Jeshua Demers and 1-year-old Ezra Demers died. Their 10-year-old brother is on life support at University Hospital. Police say Larry Demers was drunk when he crashed. They point out that three of the children were not wearing seat belts.

Billie Sol Estes to be remembered at funeral

GRANBURY, Texas (AP) -- Family and friends are set to remember flamboyant swindler Billie Sol Estes, a man whose name was synonymous with Texas-sized schemes, greed and corruption.
The funeral for Estes is set for Saturday afternoon in Granbury, located about 40 miles southwest of Fort Worth. Estes died in his sleep Tuesday at the age of 88.
He became one of the most notorious men in America in 1962, when he was accused of looting a federal crop subsidy program. But he reigned as the state's king of con men for nearly 50 years.
Estes was best known for the scandal that broke out during President John F. Kennedy's administration involving phony financial statements and non-existent fertilizer tanks. Several lower-level agriculture officials resigned and Estes wound up spending several years in prison.
