SAN ANTONIO - The Lee
Volunteers will be ready, as two-a-days are underway all over town in
preparation for the upcoming 2014 high school football season.

The Vols are working out to get ready for their tough district run against teams like Reagan, Madison and Churchill.

Coach
Danny Kloza does a great job at Lee. His team's play hard as anyone in
the city, and he expects that they will do the same this season.

"We
had eight sophomores that played last year," Kloza said. "We've got a
lot of kids coming back this year. We've got some great seniors. We only
have 16 of them, but we've got good senior leadership.

"Our
motto is that championships are won today, and we take that one day and
work toward getting better and we go about our business like that. We go
into a dogfight every week and we know that. The kids are prepared and
they're excited."

The Vols finished 3-7 overall and 0-6 in
District 26-5A in 2013. Lee begins play in 26-6A with MacArthur,
Roosevelt, Churchill, Madison and Johnson.

Lee opens the season against Taft at Comalander Stadium on Aug. 29.Preview: Coach Kloza has Vols ready to play
