Not only did Mark Garcia's buzzer beater from beyond half court go viral on the internet - it also got airplay on national television and won the Matador's first playoff game since 2005.

Maximum Sports decided to go to Seguin High School on "the day after the big shot" to find out if the emotions had come back to earth.

"The best thing about the shot," Garcia explained, "is that we won the game and my team gets to go onto the next round."

"That shot is the peak of my coaching career," head coach Dwayne Gerlich said when asked where the single shot ranks for him, "I have been coaching for over 30 years and I've never been involved in something like this."

Just for fun, Mark tried to hit the shot from that same distance three times in practice - he couldn't.

Hopefully the Matadors won't need any more heroics to win their next game. They play Angleton on Friday in Columbus, TX.
