Whether you like him not not, you cannot escape all things LaVar Ball.

The father of Lakers rookie point guard, Lonzo Ball, has been in the spotlight of late for his comments on L.A.'s Head Coach Luke Walton and whether or not he's lost control of the team as LaVar stated.

His comments has sparked a debate on if Mr. Ball is getting too much coverage for his outrageous comments.

Enter San Antonio Spurs' Gregg Popovich who did not mince words when asked his thoughts on LaVar's comments regarding Walton.

Getting riled up over Ball's antics is just going to stoke the flames. It is a fine line between showering him with attention and covering his thoughts that could impact the NBA - here his words on Walton.

Perhaps Pop is on to something here - tread lightly, ignore him and he'll eventually go away.

Now back to basketball.
