According to reports, San Antonio Spurs' Kawhi Leonard is set to make his return from injury this week and his return couldn't come at a better time.

The Spurs are on a 2-game skid, have dropped to the 7th spot in the West playoff race and are staring at the possibility of missing the postseason entirely.

But how much impact will Kawhi's return make on the team?

Spurs legend David Robinson was a guest on "First Things First," to weigh in on Kawhi's return and other issues around the Spurs including the state of the team, Kawhi's reported issues with the team and lack of leadership on the team.

"It (Leonard's return) can change everything," said Robinson. "And with Kawhi we (Spurs) can be pretty effective."
"I think we've been lacking a little bit of leadership these last couple of years. You don't lose a Tim Duncan and all of a sudden not feel a vacuum."
"LaMarcus (Aldridge) has to step up. Kawhi Has to step up."
