Jessica Headley's love for news and exploration makes her the perfect person to serve as the Fox News First co-anchor.
Jessica grew up in Alabama, and attended Birmingham Southern College, where she graduated cum laude with a degree in political science, with an emphasis in Spanish, dance and vocal performance. She also showed an interest in bettering her community, with the foundation of her own non-profit group called P.R.A.I.S.E. That effort propelled her into a role as a political appointee at The White House, presiding over the President's domestic and international volunteer missions, including work with the Peace Corps, the American Red Cross, AmeriCorps, and celebrity and corporate philanthropy. She was awarded the President's Service Award for logging more than 4,000 hours of community service.
After her time at The White House and placing as a runner up in Miss DC (USA), Jessica chose to combine her ardor for academics and the arts with her longstanding fervor for news. She took an assignment working for a foreign dignitary in NYC while also training with Fox Network News in both New York City and Los Angeles. She then worked as a reporter for stations in Montana and San Diego.
Having trained as a dancer for 23 years, practiced the art of singing, and grown up in the 'sports central' south, Jessica loves the outdoors, music, foreign films, horseback riding, the philosophy and history of great wines and cuisine, performance cars, and the science of organic and holistic nutrition.
In her down time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her Great Pyrenees Dakota.
