SEGUIN, Texas - More than 700 families have food on their table after a distribution in Seguin.

This was thanks to a partnership from the City and the San Antonio and New Braunfels Food Bank and the Guadalupe medical center.

"I've never seen an event like this before," Monia Borrego with the New Braunfels Food Bank said. "We've responded to emergencies and to hurricanes but something that is affecting so many people in so many different areas, I've never experienced this before. So for us to still have food and to be able to get volunteers to come and help us is super special."

There will be another food distribution in Seguin next month.
