SAN ANTONIO - Multiple sources say that the victim of the brutal stabbing at the Palladium theater that happened at The Rim over the weekend was there with San Antonio Spurs player.

Police said that they have cleared one of the two people of interest in the brutal attack.

Investigators say the man in a red hat seen in surveillance footage is NOT connected to the attack.

A search is still on for the man seen in a blue shirt, captured on footage running away from the scene.

Police have not named any suspects as they work to determine whether this attack was random or targeted.

And we've learned from multiple sources at the San Antonio Police Department that the woman who was stabbed inside the Palladium - 32-year-old Sydney Bosworth - was there seeing a movie with San Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl.

According to the police report, Poeltl did not see the stabbing, which took place in the hallway as Bosworth was walking back to her theater.

The Spurs could not be reached for comment.
