SAN ANTONIO – Medical examiners have identified a man who was killed in a shooting at a Northside apartment complex.

Police say 31-year-old Zachary Leard was shot to death around 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, on North Vandiver Road.

Officers were called out for a reported shooting in progress and found a Hispanic male with a gunshot wound in the back parking lot.

This is an ongoing and active investigation.
