SAN ANTONIO —

According to a report, the San Antonio Spurs have granted the Knicks permission to interview assistant coach Will Hardy.

Hardy is among several other candidates which include Spurs' Becky Hammon, ex-Spurs coach Ime Udoka, interim head coach Mike Miller, Kenny Atkinson, Tom Thibodeau and Mike Woodson.

He is in his fourth season as an assistant coach and has served as the team’s video coordinator from 2013-15. He began his career in San Antonio as a basketball operations intern in 2010 before being promoted to assistant video coordinator in 2011.
