Global Pain Association to host upcoming chronic pain seminar
SAN ANTONIO- Dr. Susan Blackwood and Salina Shelton of the Global Pain Association talked about the organization's upcoming seminar on chronic pain happening on September 14th. The Global Pain Association's mission is to help individuals overcome chronic pain through a community-based approach.
According to the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and the Institute of Medicine, more than 30 percent of Americans live with some form of chronic pain. More people live with chronic pain than cancer and diabetes combined.
The Global Pain Association is free and will be held on September 14th at the La Quinta North West Conference Center at 4431 Horizon Hill San Antonio, TX 78230 from 9 am - 3 pm.
