SAN ANTONIO- MidNite Flortiz the Youth Coordinator at San Anto Cultural Arts spoke with Melissa Vega during this week's Focus on South Texas. San Anto Cultural Arts is a San Antonio, TX nonprofit founded in 1993 with the mission to foster human and community development through community-based arts.

MidNite discussed how the group is adjusting to the COVID-19 restrictions while finding new and fun ways to show their art and creativity to the world. Some examples of things MidNite has done to keep the organization connected during this time are: creating online video art classes and a podcast. A positive that has come from this situation is artist's from around the nation are now coming together to showcase their art. It's this kind of unity that shines light on our society during these trying times.
