SAN ANTONIO- A story even the Bexar County sheriff is calling "heart wrenching". A woman held against her will for several hours and sexually assaulted by three men over the weekend.
"This victim was held for the better part of it seems like about 12 hours that she was held, repeatedly raped and held at length for many hours at a time,” said Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.
Three men, 20-year-old Eugene Hodge, 23-year-old Jamal Wolford, and 22-year-old Richard Taylor-White have been charged with aggravated sexual assault and aggravated kidnapping. The sheriff's office says a friend of the victim was responsible for having the victim meet the three men.
"She has some sort of an ongoing friendship, relationship with the female suspect in the case, the one that initially lured her to the location and then subsequently forced her to have sex with at least one of the suspects first,” said Sheriff Salazar.
The Sheriff's Office says the victim was convinced to come to a home here off Corian Glen Drive, where she was sexually assaulted, then she was brought to another location.
"It’s just a disturbing case, the details of the case are very disturbing, she was actually assaulted, she was choked, she reports being held at gunpoint during the gang rape and certainly it’s just a heart wrenching situation for anyone to go through,” Salazar said.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says the victim was taken here to this trailer park at the 6700 block of Walzem Road, then brought back to the other location and then brought back here where she managed to run off for help.
The sheriff's office says the victim managed to run to this nearby church where she called police.
