After days of waiting for the winner to come forward, we've learned a Floresville resident has finally claimed the $5 million second-tier Mega Millions prize won in San Antonio last week.

The ticket was purchased at Big's Aztec Corner Store, at the corner of St. Mary's St. and West Commerce, in downtown San Antonio.

It matched five white ball numbers of the October 16th drawing. The ticket did not match the Mega Ball number.

Still, that ticket is worth $5 million. The winner asked to remain anonymous, which is allowed by state law.

Meanwhile, the overall jackpot stands at $1.6 billion. The next drawing is Tuesday.
