SAN ANTONIO - The Bexar County Sheriff's Office confirmed a detention officer was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated early Friday morning.

Officer Krystal Borrego, 32, was hired by the agency in August of 2016 and was assigned to the Adult Detention Center. She was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
