ROSENBERG, Texas -- A teenager who investigators say attacked a man outside a restaurant has now turned himself in to police.

Alejandro Maldonado, 18, was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail for Aggravated Assault. His bond was set at $25,000 dollars.

According to KTRK in Houston, the 30-year-old victim was leaving Ruchi's Mexican Grill when he was blindsided with one powerful punch.

"That knockout game is what we're assuming is what's going on here," Lt. Chad Pino of the Rosenberg Police told KTRK.

The victim, who police believe did not know Maldonado, hit the pavement and was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries.
