Couple attacked after complaining of loud music; three people injured in violent fight
SAN ANTONIO —
Three people were hospitalized after a violent fight over loud music.
Police say a couple living on the second floor of a building at the Winston Square Apartments on General McMullen went to a first floor apartment to tell another couple to turn down the music.
After returning to their apartment, the first floor tenants went upstairs to confront the couple that complained about the noise and a fight broke out. Investigators said one of the women leaned on a handrail, which gave way, and she fell off the balcony, injuring her head. One report stated she may have cracked her skull.
One of the men attacked the other with a crowbar, and the other man pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the shoulder.
The injured tenants were taken to University Hospital; their latest conditions were not available.
Police said the incident remained under investigation.
