Deputies seize vape pen filled with THC oil, weed gummies during traffic stop

FAYETTE COUNTY, Texas -- Fayette County deputies arrested a woman Tuesday night after she allegedly admitted to having drugs in her car during a traffic stop.

A deputy pulled the woman over on Highway 71 near Loop 543 in the West Point area for a traffic violation. When the deputy started talking to the driver, he noticed an odor of marijuana coming from her car. The driver admitted she had marijuana, according to a press release, and gave a clear bag with a "green leafy substance."

When questioned about other drugs in her car, the driver gave up a couple of marijuana gummies and a vapor pen that was filled with THC oil, according to the news release.

The driver, identified as 26-year-old Crystal Martinez, of Leander was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.
