Man found stabbed outside West Side store, dies at hospital
SAN ANTONIO -- A man who was found stabbed outside a West Side store has died of his injuries.
Emergency crews responded to a call about a cutting at the Pik Nik convenience store on the 500 block of Ruiz around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found a man in his 50s lying by the entrance suffering from multiple stab wounds to his torso. The man was taken by EMS to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Investigators believe the man, who has not been identified, may have been stabbed somewhere else.
Police are searching for a suspect described as a Hispanic male who is about 5' 05" tall, weighs about 140 to 150 pounds, and was wearing a navy blue shirt.
