(George Strait's concert is slated for June 3, 2018.)

The King of Country will make his way to Austin for an exclusive concert in June 2018, according to a press release.

Tickets will be on sale at Nov. 3 for Strait's concert in Austin commemorating the Frank Erwin Center's 40th anniversary. His show titled "STRAIT TEXAS" is slated for June 3, 2018 at the Frank Erwin Center.

“What better way to celebrate 40 years than with a legend like George Strait,” said Director of the Frank Erwin Center, Jimmy Earl, CFE. “George has performed at the Erwin Center more times than any other artist and we are honored to have him help us commemorate this huge achievement.”

Strait's performance in Austin is the only Texas location on his calendar next year.

The 65-year-old country music legend has performed at the Frank Erwin Center 13 times, beginning Sept. 10, 1987. His most recent appearance was Jan. 20, 2014.

“We are thrilled to bring George Strait to Austin to help our friends at the Frank Erwin Center celebrate 40 years,” said CEO of Messina Touring Group, Louis Messina. “We’ve had the pleasure of bringing many shows to this iconic venue, and we’re looking forward to honoring its unique history with a great performance.”

"It's going to be great," Strait said in a Facebook video posted on the Frank Erwin Center's official page back in September. "Hope to see you there."
