H-E-B Christmas tree to light up Travis Park with 10,000 lights, dozens of ornaments

SAN ANTONIO - A 55-foot White Fir Christmas tree was delivered on Tuesday to Travis Park, the new site of the H-E-B Christmas Tree.

It will be lit on Friday, November 24, but in the days before the Christmas tree lighting, it will be adorned with more than 10,000 red lights and dozens of silver and gold handmade ornaments.

The tree comes from the Shasta Mountains in Northern California, but only the top half of the tree was cut; the bottom half is still planted.

If you'd like to see the tree in person, stop by Travis Park beginning Friday, November 24 at 3 p.m.
