Police searching for man suspected of shooting hotel clerk in the face
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas - New Braunfels police are searching for a suspect wanted after a hotel clerk was shot in the face Saturday night.
They say the suspect is Porfirio Navarro, an 18-year-old from Seguin.
A reward of up to $4,000 is possible if you know anything about him that could lead to an arrest.
They described him as a Hispanic male weighing 100-pounds
New Braunfels Police say they responded to the hotel in the 1200 block of I-35 North around 11 p.m.
Police tell us the clerk had become involved in an altercation with people who were not guests at the hotel.
A gun was shot once during the argument, hitting the clerk in the face.
The clerk, who's only being identified as a 32-year-old man, was taken to the hospital to treat the gunshot wound.
Police say he was last reported in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing, it's unclear if any arrests have been made.
