Investigation launched after body found floating in Rio Grande

EAGLE PASS, Texas — A body found floating in the Rio Grande has deputies looking into how it ended up there.

According to the Maverick County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called out to Lehman Ranch Road Sunday morning for reports of a man floating in the river.

When they arrived, they found and retrieved the deceased person.
