SAN ANTONIO — The Journey of Hope Tour will make a stop in San Antonio this week.
Their goal is to share why they are against the death penalty and for other alternatives.
We talked with AmiLyn White, whose mother was murdered. White said she opposes the death penalty -- in fact her grandmother keeps in contact with one of the murderers.
"I always grew up thinking about the family members of them and so no matter what an offender or a person has done they have families who are completely innocent of the crime," White said. "And I know that they're going to feel that same exact pain I felt when I lost my mom. "
The Journey of Hope Tour is also making stops in Houston, Dallas and Austin.
