Police said a 56-year-old man was stabbed several times, including twice in the neck, during a bizarre exchange with a friend on Monday morning.

According to officers, the victim was sitting in a pickup truck with his friend when he claims the friend 'freaked out' and started stabbing him with a sharp object.

He was stabbed several times before getting out of the truck and flagging someone down for help along Division Avenue at Frank Tejeda Park shortly after 7 a.m.

The suspect drove off in the truck, which actually belongs to the victim. Police said they were searching for the suspect.

The victim was expected to be okay.
