Police are searching for a man accused of stealing two steaks from an H-E-B store and then threatening to shoot an employee who confronted him.

The incident happened last week at the grocery store located along Northwest Military Highway.

Investigators say the man walked up to the meat counter, asked for two steaks, then put them in his jacket and walked out without paying.

An employee asked the man to pay for the steaks or return them, but he reportedly said he would shoot the worker if he did not back away.

He then got on a VIA bus and left.

If you recognize the suspect, call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
