Man wanted in drive-by shooting that killed mother arrested

SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Police Department needs your help finding a man wanted in the fatal shooting of a woman on the Northeast side on Thursday.

Police said a car with two or more men drove up and started shooting at her house on Coral Sunrise, near Binz Engleman and Mystic Sunrise at about 11:30 a.m. The woman was shot in the upper torso and she made her way outside of the house before collapsing. There were two teenage boys sitting in the driveway outside of the house and both boys took off when the shooting started. The boys were later found and are in the care of officers. Police said one of the boys is the son of the woman who died.

Police are now searching for 25-year-old Tyrend White for his alleged involvement in the shooting. If you've seen him, please call 210-224-STOP to report an anonymous tip. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000 for tips leading to his arrest. Police advise not approaching him and to call 911 immediately if you see him.
